What We've Learned: The Overview
Over the course of this project, we've learned that while many will feel pity and sorrow for those suffering with mental illnesses, little stand up in the face of bullying. This is partially due to a societal influence.

Tolerance and Intolerance:
After conducting all this research, we have learned that there should be no tolerance whatsoever to teen suicide. Children/Teens/ and even young children should never feel like they aren’t worthy enough to be alive, or they don’t feel loved to where anyone would care whether or not they were alive. We need to stop making jokes about teen suicide/, this is a real problem, and we need to all step up and fight it. Kids should never, ever feel this way, there is no tolerance for that in our world today. Even then, there are some people who feel numb towards these victims of self harm, and no longer have compassion for them.
|
We also need to stop harassing kids, and making fun of them for having a mental illness. They can’t control it, so why make fun of something someone has when they can’t do anything to change it. Instead we need to help them deal with it, instead of bring them down about it. These are all serious issues that people all around the world are facing today in our society.
